The 2025 edition of the Brookfield Kare Annual Scholarship Award was more than just a ceremony—it was a powerful demonstration of compassion, community service, and youth empowerment in Ogun State, Nigeria.
Held on Monday, May 5, 2025, the event brought smiles, relief, and motivation to students, apprentices, and school children across the five political wards of Ifo Constituency 1.
The founder and CEO of Brookfield Kare Charity Organization, Prince Olusegun Oshungboye, once again proved why he is widely regarded as a philanthropic trailblazer and community development advocate. This year’s award disbursed a generous ₦2,000,000 (Two Million Naira) in scholarship support and vocational empowerment funds.
Who Benefited from the 2025 Brookfield Kare Scholarship?
1. University and Polytechnic Students:
Students in tertiary institutions from each of the five wards received cash awards to support their education.
2. Vocational Apprentices:
Young people learning trades and entrepreneurship skills were awarded cash grants to help build their businesses and futures.
3. Primary and Secondary School Pupils:
Younger students received essential school supplies including school bags and exercise books, along with financial support for their academic needs.

The awards were presented by Hon. Idris Olalekan Kusimo, Chairman of Ifo Local Government, who praised Prince Oshungboye for his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment in Ogun State.
In his speech, Hon. Kusimo stated:
